Mechanical Draftsman for Pressure Pumping Division

 

Position: Mechanical Draftsman

 

Department: Pressure Piping Division

 

Location: DIC Office, Dubai, UAE

 

Experience: 4 to 10 years

 

Job Summary:

 

Seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsman to join our Pressure Piping Division at our DIC office.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AutoCAD 2D drafting, specifically with structural skid and piping layouts.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a proven track record of producing accurate and timely drawings for fabrication and construction.

 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings for structural skids and piping systems using AutoCAD, based on engineering specifications and design concepts.
• Develop general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback and design changes.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files and documentation.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and project specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Support project teams with drafting-related tasks and queries.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 4 to 10 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in a related industry (e.g., oil and gas, manufacturing, construction).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is essential.
• Strong knowledge of structural skid and piping layouts.
• Experience with pressure piping systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
