Position Summary:
Education : BE in Mech or DME
Technical certification : CSWIP 3.1 , Level II in ASNT/PCN - PT , MT , UT (RT is additional)
Experience : Minimum 5 years related to the below skills
Skills : API Q1 requirements , Pressure Pumping and Nitron units , API 4F , 16D , 7K and 8C products inspection knowledge and
experience in Fabrication and Mechanical equipment.
Language : English - Read and Write must , Hindi - Speaking
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QC Engineer to join our Pressure Pumping & Drilling (PPD) division. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet the required quality standards, including Global QC reports standards of SLB, HAL, and Baker. This role requires a strong understanding of quality control procedures, technical certifications, and relevant industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures in line with industry standards (API Q1, API 4F, 16D, 7K, 8C).
- Conduct inspections of Pressure Pumping and Nitron units.
- Perform quality checks on fabrication and mechanical equipment.
- Ensure all QC reports comply with Global QC reports standards of SLB, HAL, and Baker.
- Collaborate with the PPD team to address and resolve any quality-related issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME).
- Technical Certifications:
- CSWIP 3.1
- ASNT/PCN Level II in Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT) (Radiographic Testing (RT) is an additional advantage).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of API Q1 requirements.
- Experience with Pressure Pumping and Nitron units.
- Knowledge and experience in API 4F, 16D, 7K, and 8C products inspection.
- Experience in fabrication and mechanical equipment.
- Language: Proficient in English (read and write). Hindi speaking ability is required.
